Spicy-Sweet BBQ Chicken Wings

Get ready for Super Bowl Sunday!

Whether you are hosting a small watch party, attending a socially-distanced potluck, or watching from the comfort of your home, you’re going to want some yummy finger food to snack on during the game.

I grew up making these super simple, baked chicken wings that perfectly hit the spot. I tweaked my mom's recipe by adding Sun Valley Mustard: Spicy Sweet, and it makes them burst with flavor!

The wings pair well with curly fries and a veggie platter.

The Fixings:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, thawed

  • Pinches of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and seasoning salt

  • 1-2 cups barbeque sauce (your favorite one!)

  • 2 tablespoons Sun Valley Mustard: Spicy-Sweet

The Cooking:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (400 degrees F for crispy wings)

  2. Pat your chicken wings dry

  3. Combine your seasonings in a bowl and toss chicken with seasonings

  4. Combine barbecue sauce with Sun Valley Mustard and toss chicken with sauce

  5. Place chicken wings on foil-lined cookie sheet

  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until done

  7. Serve with Sun Valley Mustard: Roasted Hatch Chile as a dipping sauce

Note: If you like your wings not quite as messy and saucy, as we do, place your chicken on the lined cookie sheet first. Then sprinkle seasonings on both sides and coat the wings with sauce using a basting brush
